Recommendations for Creating a Portfolio

Thank you for your interest in participating as an exhibitor at Confuror 2026! We’d like to share some tips on how to design your portfolio and make the most of your application. Good luck!

Your application and the contents of your portfolio should reflect the focus of the exhibition you are applying to.

If you wish to submit an application for each of the exhibition sections (Night Market, Dealers Den, Artist Alley), you must create a portfolio that meets the specifications for each one.

Key points

An ideal portfolio includes:

  • Introduction, Show us who you are!
    • Your portfolio should include your first name, artist name, or project name.
    • If the application is submitted on behalf of a group, the names of all exhibitors must be included, without omission.
  • Submissions: Show us your art, products, and designs!
    • The material you submit must be relevant to the requested sales space.
    • Include examples of your illustrations and designs.
    • Include product concepts, if you haven’t produced them yet.
    • Include photographs showing your exhibition at other events (if you’ve participated in any).
    • If the application is for a collective, material from all exhibitors must be included, without omission.
  • Contact Information
    • Please include links to your social media profiles and galleries so we can see more of your work.
    • If the application is submitted by a group, links to the social media profiles and galleries of all participating artists must be included, without exception.

Points to Consider Regarding Groups and Table Assistants

In a group setting, a participant who contributes creative material is referred to as an “Exhibitor”, while an operator who provides support to exhibitors during the convention is referred to as an “Assistant”.

Depending on the chosen format and size, exhibition spaces have a limit on the number of people (exhibitors + assistants) who may be present during the operation of the space.

  • In the Artist Alley, only 1 person is allowed per space (the exhibitor).
  • In the Dealers Den:
    • Maximum of 2 people per table (exhibitors or assistants).
    • Maximum of 3 people per booth (exhibitors or assistants).
    • Maximum of 4 people per XL Booth (Exhibitors or Assistants).
  • In the Night Market, there can only be 2 people per table (Exhibitors or Assistants).

The names or contact information of assistants will not be required during the group application process (nor do they need to appear in the portfolio). It is mandatory to provide the contact information of the participating exhibitors only.

An “Assistant” may not include or modify elements of the exhibition, whether by adding their own material or representing another artist or exhibitor not mentioned in the original application.

A collective may not change its members without prior consultation with the sales committee.
